Powered forklifts, powered walk behinds, order pickers and other powered material movers fall under the “forklift” standard.
Operators are required to be trained according to the OSHA Standards and the facilities specific operations. This includes classroom training, knowledge testing, and operational testing (road evaluations). Training is required every three years.
CTTCI Instructors can develop a training program specific to your facility, present the classroom training, and conduct the road evaluations.
We have great success with our Train-the-Trainer program for Forklift Instructors. This program is of great benefit for facilities requiring occasional new employee training.
